Joining Archangel Lightworks, you will have the opportunity to support and shape the scaling of the operations function in a fast-paced, supportive startup environment.
You will be working with a fun, experienced, and forward-thinking team to deliver transformative free-space laser communications solutions to help solve some of Earth's most critical problems, from economic inclusion to climate change. You will be an integral part of a growing team which has already won international prizes and awards including having completed the Catalyst Accelerator which is backed by the US Air Force, Space Force and Microsoft.
**The role**:

**What will you be responsible for?**
As Office Coordinator, you will work as part of the Operations team to ensure effective day-to-day running of our facilities and to execute continuous improvements to our operational processes.
Office and Facilities Management:
- Organise physical and online data
- Coordinate facilities maintenance with external vendors
- Implement Health & Safety procedures and ensure day-to-day compliance
- Maintain the key supplies to ensure the smooth running of the office: equipment, stationery, kitchen supplies, refreshments, etc.
- Provide general support to create an enjoyable and productive office environment
Reception Duties:
- Be the first point of contact for greeting visitors to our facility
- Manage deliveries and logistics
HR Support:
- Arrange interviews using our Applicant Tracking System
- Organise team events
Procurement:
- Purchase office and technical items in a timely and accurate manner
- Track shipments and ensure deliveries are received
There will be opportunities to get involved with other areas of Operations, depending on your interests and background.
**Location**:
Oxford. Hybrid with 3-4 days in the office per week.
**Requirements**:
- Proven track record in effective task management, project coordination and teamwork
- Previous experience working in an office environment, ideally within a startup
- Excellent Communication (written & verbal) - accurate and professional
- Excellent administration & organisational skills
**Desirable** additional skills**:
- Office and Facilities Management experience
- Experience in procurement, shipping logistics and customs
- Qualified first aider - training can be provided if necessary
