**Job overview**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Team Administrator to work within the Mental Health Liaison team (MHLT) based in Ipswich hospital. MHLT operates across 2 organisations within the NHS, Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust and East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The post will be based within Ipswich Hospital but you will also be part of the wider admin team based in the Woodlands.

We are an age-inclusive assessment service and see patients only within Ipswich Hospital in the Emergency Department and the inpatient areas. We also provide advice on how to access mental health input for outpatients and how to self-refer for support. The MHLT may provide individual assessment and treatment or advise medical and nursing staff on the management of risk and individual mental health plans. Our aim is to improve patient and carer experience for patients with mental health difficulties within the hospital and aid safe discharge, along with multidisciplinary working with other services involved in health and social care.

**Main duties of the job**:
Your role will involve a wide range of tasks from minute taking, attending daily team meetings, data collection and inputting. Taking the work the clinical team do and ensuring it is on our clinical database in the correct way to support data reporting. Creating clinical letters using both written and audio dictation to support information sharing with both the patient and relevant support services. The role will also include answering the phones for the teams, talking with patients, carers and other professionals in a calm, professional and empathetic way. This is a stimulating and varied role where no two days are alike but are extremely rewarding. You will also provide cover to other admin areas in the Woodlands as required.
