**Job Description**:
As a Full-Time Receptionist at The Boat Country Inn, you will play a vital role in fostering a warm and inviting ambiance for our guests. Your main duties will involve:
1. Guest Services:
- Extend a warm welcome to arriving guests and ensure a seamless check-in experience.
- Offer information about the inn's amenities, local attractions, and available services.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and issues promptly and courteously.
2. Check-in and Check-out:
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, paying attention to detail.
- Handle reservations, ensuring accuracy in guest details and room assignments.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to manage room availability and ensure guest satisfaction.
3. Telephone and Front Desk Operations:
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Provide assistance and information to callers as needed.
- Manage mail and messages for both guests and staff members.
4. Reservations:
- Oversee room reservations and cancellations.
- Collaborate with the sales and revenue team to optimise room occupancy.
- Stay updated on room availability, rates, and promotional offers.
5. Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve guest concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolution.
6. Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate and current guest records.
- Handle card transactions accurately and securely.
- Assist with various administrative duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
6. Positive attitude and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Zero hours contract
