DataBuzz are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious organisation who is looking for Fleet Technical Officer.

As a Fleet Technical Officer, you will be expected to assist the Fleet Manager in delivering a compliant and consistent approach to fleet management across the authority.

As a Fleet Technical Officer, you will be expected to develop and maintain compliant fleet records and data.

As a Fleet Technical Officer, you will be expected to have experience of analytical techniques & tools.

As a Fleet Technical Officer, you will be expected to provide knowledge and guidance to teams across the authority.

As a Fleet Technical Officer, you will be expected to assist the Fleet Manager in maintaining the authority's vehicle fleet.

As a Fleet Technical Officer, you will be expected to be a named Transport Manager on the authority's Operating Licence

As a Fleet Technical Officer, you will be expected to provide vehicle and driver management compliance, guidance and support to maintain the authority's Operator's Licence.

**Essential Responsibilities & Experiences**:

- Liaise with managers to develop a programme of auditing to maintain compliance across vehicle and driver operations.
- Maintain and develop appropriate vehicle and driver records.
- Deliver inductions and training for new drivers.
- Analysis and debriefing of driver hours compliance.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance schedules are met and co-ordinate vehicle repair and maintenance with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Monitor and report vehicle data to ensure efficient fuel management.
- Monitor and report vehicle costs and damage claims.
- Ensuring vehicle telematic data is stored and issued in line with procedures.
- Manage any motor claims (insurance) and ensure processes are followed and data recorded.
- Prepare and supply fleet related reports for teams.
- Carry out inspections and audits to ensure third party maintenance is delivered in line with the contract.
- Arrange and ensure mandatory and ad hoc driver training.
- Must have driving licence, have access to vehicle and be willing to travel between locations.

As a Fleet Technical Officer, you will earn a competitive day rate of £15 per hour with travel expenses.
