An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Programme Administrator in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. This could be 08:45 -5.00 Monday and Tuesday or reduced hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. This is to cover a trial flexible working arrangement. You will provide administrative support to the Programme Director, academic staff, sessional staff and students for the PG Programmes in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. Responsibilities will include dealing with student and staff enquiries, maintaining records and liaising with other areas of the University such as Registry, Examinations, Enabling Team, Quality Team and the HUB.

You should be educated to A Level or equivalent standard with strong IT skills, including the use of databases. Excellent administrative, organisational and team-working skills are essential and experience in using a student records database such as SITS would be advantageous. The ability to coordinate a wide range of activities and to communicate effectively when dealing with a wide range of contacts is also essential.
