Busy Bee Recruitment are currently assisting with the recruitment of a **Experienced Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator**for their education client that is rapidly evolving its SEND provision, this will be based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

**Duties**:

- Monitor the quality of SEND support by establishing effective systems to identify and meet the needs of students, whilst ensuring that the systems are coordinated,
- evaluated, and regularly reviewed
- Track progress and achievements of students
- Work with students, other work professionals and class teachers to ensure realistic expectations of behaviour and achievements are set for SEND students
- Contribute to the school’s development plan
- To communicate with parents, completing or coordinating APDR cycles for appropriate students

**Skills Required**:

- The ability to build strong and trusting relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Previous SEND experience
- A good understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent standards of literacy and numeracy.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A passion for working and learning with children
