We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team of Enterprise Coordinators driving the success of the Careers Hub across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. You will be customer focused, a self-starter and team player, with experience of buildingpartnerships, creating networks and maintaining strong relationships.

You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding enthusiastic and committed business volunteers and linking them with schools and colleges to develop careers programmes that respond to the economic and strategic aims of Cambridgeshire& Peterborough Combined Authority, helping students make informed decisions about their next steps towards a good job

The Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC) is the national body for careers education in England, delivering support to schools and colleges to deliver modern, 21st century careers education.

This **Enterprise Coordinator** role sits within the Skills & Business Relationship function of GPC Skills who via Growth Works with Skills deliver the Careers & Enterprise Company’s Enterprise Adviser Network on behalf of Cambridgeshire & PeterboroughCombined Authority.

**Scope and Remit**

Careers Hubs bring together schools, colleges, employers, and apprenticeship providers in a local area. The goal is to work together and help schools and colleges improve how they prepare young people for their best next steps.

The Enterprise Coordinator (EC) sits at the heart of the local Network to help schools and colleges improve their careers and enterprise programmes and to engage with the world of work.

The Enterprise Coordinator is part of a team brought together to broker relationships with schools, colleges, local businesses, providers and a range of stakeholders to co-ordinate and deliver The Careers & Enterprise Company’s national programme and criticalto achieving its aim of motivating, inspiring and supporting young people in making informed choices about their future and help them achieve against those choices.

**The Enterprise Coordinator will work to**:

- Help Cambridgeshire & Peterborough schools and colleges to improve their careers and enterprise activities and to engage with the world of work
- Make it easier for employers, the self-employed and providers to engage meaningfully with schools and colleges
- Focus everyone’s efforts on programmes and activities that are most effective in motivating young people, supporting independent choice, and supporting positive outcomes for young people

**Role duties will include but not be limited to**:

- Establishing and developing your Network: _
- Establishing and growing the Network locally by engaging and supporting a caseload of c.20 schools and colleges.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with senior leaders in local schools and colleges.
- Leading and coordinating relationships between the EA, the school/college and the wider Network.
- Enterprise Advisers _
- Leading on the recruitment of Enterprise Advisers, encouraging equality, diversity & inclusion in the recruitment process.
- Successfully match Enterprise Advisers to schools and colleges within the Network.
- Building Careers and Enterprise Networks - working nationally, tailoring locally. _
- Supporting EAs and Careers Leaders including induction and training, coordinating network meetings, and identifying and delivering ongoing training.
- Organise and attend regular school/college meetings.
- Implementation and Impact _
- Regularly reviewing the network to ensure the members remain engaged and proactive.
- Reporting & Monitoring_
- Maintain full and accurate records of schools & colleges in portfolio, individual contacts, EAN, and all activities undertaken to support deliver of CEC targets, events and broader adding of value.

**You must be authorised to work in the UK**
