**Role Overview**

Trigon Recruitment are recruiting for a Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Tutor/Assessor to work for a National Training Provider who are over 30 years in business and a Grade 2 Ofsted. The role will be to provide effective teaching, learning and assessment to apprentices studying Children, Young People and Families Practitioner L4 standards and L5 Management.

**Role will include:

- To assess apprentices against Children, Young People and Families Practitioner L4 standards and L5 management.
- To deliver engaging and effective training sessions to groups of apprentices and on a one-to one basis.
- To compile and assess occupational qualifications.
- Ensure excellent apprentice attendance, retention, and achievement.
- To deliver English and maths Functional Skill qualifications up to level 2.
- To conduct & use initial assessment effectively and set apprentices appropriate, but challenging, targets & goals.
- To deliver engaging, effective, and innovative group training sessions to apprentices, including induction.
- To plan and facilitate engaging schemes of work.
- To deliver inspiring training that meets criteria and standards for apprenticeships.
- To manage apprentices and their Individual Learning Programmes, closely monitor and review progress.
- To assess apprentices’ portfolios and provide regular supportive, developmental feedback.
- To conduct and document meaningful reviews of apprentices.
- Conduct timely one-to-one visits with apprentices in the workplace and support and facilitate progress.
- Ensure that apprentices’ attendance & retention targets are met.
- To achieve targets to meet contractual obligations.

**Key skills and experience**
- IT literate
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a residential setting for young people and families
- Understanding of apprenticeship programmes.
- Able to use a company database and E-portfolios.
- Ability to teach varying levels of ability.
- Able to set targets and manage deadlines.
- Can facilitate one to one support and deliver effective training sessions to small groups.
- Excellent inter personal skills
- Genuine desire to help people

**Essential**
- Full driving license with access to a car.
- Minimum Level 2 English & Maths.
- Level 3 Teaching Qual
- Taga or equivalent

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £28,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
