**Residential Care Workers**
Beacon Childcare is currently seeking dedicated Residential Care Workers to join our team at our residential children's care home. We are committed to providing exceptional care and support to children aged 8-18 years old, particularly those with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

**Salary**: £22,308 to £27,849 per annum

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Day-to-Day Support**: Assisting young people with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
**Education Support**: Taking children to and from school, helping with homework, and encouraging educational development.
**Daily Living Skills**: Cooking meals, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy home environment.
**Emotional Support**:Providing emotional and behavioural support tailored to each child's needs.
**Sleep-in Shifts**: Working shifts that start at 10am and include sleep-in duties to ensure 24-hour care.
**Requirements**:
- NVQ Level 4 in Children's Residential is required. Beacon Childcare can support you in obtaining this qualification if you do not already have it.
- Genuine passion for working with children and young people.
- Understanding of Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including sleep-in shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in childcare are preferred but not essential.
