Outreach Transitional Care LTD provides a stable, person centred placement for residents who may display complex and at times challenging behaviours with a modernised 6 bedroom home in Mosely, Birmingham in the West Midlands.

At Outreach Transitional Care LTD we support and encourage vulnerable adults who for example may have a diagnosis of Autism, learning disabilities, sensory deprivation, emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD) and Mental Health to be as independent as possible, to live fulfilling and rewarding lives within our Residential services.

Working as a Support Worker for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs is a highly varied and rewarding job. You will be supporting people to live their lives to the fullest and to be as independent as possible. The role includes supporting people with daily living tasks such as cooking, domestic skills, personal care and helping people to take part in social activities, work placements, exercise and hobbies.

**Key Requirements to be a Support Worker**:

- You must be committed to supporting vulnerable people to live their best lives and to support people with respect and with dignity
- To be a good communicator and to be able to work well as part of a team
- To be enthusiastic about supporting people to live a varied and happy life
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to both work under your own initiative but also as part of a team
- Previous experience is not essential as you will receive comprehensive training including being provided with QCF training
- Drivers with a full clean licence preferred as our clients like getting out and about.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

Ability to Relocate:

- Birmingham: Relocate before starting work (required)
