Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Residential Childcare Apprenticeship Assessor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting apprentices undertaking residential childcare qualifications in accordance with the apprenticeship standards and regulatory requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct assessments of apprentices' knowledge, skills, and behaviors in line with the residential childcare apprenticeship standards.
- Support apprentices in developing their competence and understanding of residential childcare practices through regular meetings and guidance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date assessment records and documentation.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to apprentices to support their learning and professional development.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of the apprenticeship program.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and changes in residential childcare regulations and practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the apprenticeship program through sharing best practices and suggesting enhancements.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience working in the residential childcare sector, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of residential childcare practices, regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
- Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33) - desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in assessing apprenticeship standards and providing feedback.
- Commitment to providing high-quality training and support to apprentices.
