Supercraft Ltd. is a precision aerospace engineering facility in the UK, which manufactures components and assemblies for aircraft industry around the world, with major customers such as Airbus, Leonardo helicopters and BAE Systems.
The remit of the role of Administrator (Procurement & Supply Chain) is to support the administrative function at Supercraft Ltd., with a specific focus on procurement and supply chain activities at both the Byfleet and Brough facilities.
Working from the factory floor, this is a fast-paced operational and administrative role, the timeliness and value of which is intrinsically linked to Supercraft’s growth and sustainability in ensuring that demanding production and delivery schedules are consistently met.
**ADMINISTRATION**
- Raise purchase orders for subcontracts and miscellaneous buying (calibration, paint, chemicals, boxes, etc.).
- Book in purchase orders, facilitating their movement through to the next required process.
- Review and authorise role-related invoices for Finance.
- Progress chase product internally and externally to ensure work stays to schedule and timelines are met.
- Review and update RRM regularly in relation to purchase orders and customer management information.
**COMMUNICATIONS**
- Liaise daily with the Brough facility, providing accurate and timely information.
- Provide regular feedback and reports to the supply chain lead and senior management if required.
- Attend and proactively contribute to twice daily Sales meetings.
- Attend in-house customer sales meetings, updating spreadsheets accordingly.
- Attend team meetings as required.
**PRODUCT DISPATCH**
- Pack product to required specifications.
- Make travel arrangements for product, creating transfer notes and efficiently coordinating the use of Company drivers or booking couriers if necessary.
**AD HOC**
- Maintain and adhere to required standards, policies and procedures at all times, including HR, quality, health and safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
- Complete any other reasonable duties as required by the Operations Executive.
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- Minimum 2 years prior experience within an administrative operational role, raising purchase orders and / or invoices.
- Capable working both as part of a team and unsupervised.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Able to engage quickly with others in a professional and positive manner.
- Basic IT literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new systems easily.
- Aerospace business knowledge advantageous.
