My client, a professional global Hedge Fund company based in Mayfair are currently seeking a Facilities Assistant on a permanent basis. Due to growth, this is a new position within the organisation and will be working closely with the Facilities Manager. This is an exciting role with room to grow. Flexibility is required and attending other premises as well as working some weekends and getting involved with project work.
- Sort incoming mail and dispatch outgoing mail before midday
- Log and track all incoming priority packages and deliver to relevant recipients
- Process returned packages and deliver to post office
- Review furniture requirements and reconstruct furniture as and when needed
- Identify cleaning defects in overall facility and identify areas that require attention
- Ensure the physical appearance of the office is always to company standards
- Liaise and work with the building engineers on service requests
- Maintain conference rooms including setting up and clean up after meetings and events
- Be available and hands on for any day-to-day office needs (i.e. troubleshoot or repair desks, daily moves, changing toners)
- Keep the stationary supply and kitchen areas replenished
- Coordinate and schedule pickups and deliveries
- Holiday cover for Office Management/Facilities team as and when needed.

**To be considered for this role you must possess**:

- Experience with Microsoft Office packages
- Strong Excel and data entry skills
- High attention to detail
- Able to prioritise in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment is key
- Quick learner
- Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate well with people of all levels
