**The Opportunity**

The Debt Recovery and Term Lead is a vital role within the Revenue Operations in our Retail business.

You will be responsible for aged debt collection performance working with partners, leading the strategy and delivery in this area. This includes termed debt collections, working with Debt Collection Agencies, aged debt resolution (180 days+) and litigation and debt sale activities.

**What you’ll be doing**

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and delivering aged debt resolution and collection plans. This will include our strategy for recovery of Live Aged Debt and Term debt, including debt collection agency management. Driving a continuous improvement culture through operational processes, management and using data to drive decisions will be a key part of the role.

You’ll own and champion agile ways of working, creating a high-performing team that is adept in creating and implementing solutions to business and industry challenges and will provide guidance and support when needed and encourage your team members to learn and grow both personally and professional enabling them to be the best version of themselves.

You’ll use data to proactively identify risks, challenges, and issues that may impact execution, develop mitigation plans, and drive timely resolution whilst driving a culture of continuous improvement within the team, seeking opportunities to enhance processes, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
