We are currently looking for exceptional people to join our team and have a great opportunity for a Part Time **Health and Safety Assistant**.

As a Health and Safety Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that Company and legal policies are adhered to.

**Key Responsibilities of the role**:

- To be able to prioritise daily tasks based on the requirements of the hotel.
- To be familiar with the layout/ plan of the hotel and the working of all equipment in the building.
- Co-ordinate and supervise outside contractors when required.
- Deal with all servicing, product guarantee and warranty related issues.
- Plan compliance and Preventative Maintenance in line with the Departments Preventative Maintenance Schedule and communicate requirements the Maintenance and Operations Manager.
- Observe all of requirements under the Health and Safety at Work Act to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- To conduct checks of the emergency procedures and equipment.
- To Ensure that all compliance is completed in a timely manner.

**Requirements of the role**:

- Great knowledge of HASSAP, COSHH and Health and Safety experience within a hotel or accommodation services area.
- Flexibility - to enjoy working different shift patterns (weekends may be necessary)
- To be able to be organised and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to manage your own workload and be self-motivated while working alone or in a small team.
- Responsible and trustworthy attitude, you will have access to all customer areas and be responsible for ensuring the environment is Safe for guests and colleagues.
