We are looking for dedicated, reliable, and empathetic Support Workers (experienced or non-experienced).

The role will involve you to attend children’s residential homes, the children in care may have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, exploitation etc. Therefore, will require someone to be confident, patient, and strong minded to work alongside the vulnerable young people.

We like to describe the role as a ‘professional family’, the homes will be set up like a normal household, they will need support in education, prompting personal care, taking to appointments, teaching life skills, cooking, and cleaning etc.

The role is incredibly rewarding and very important to the young people’s growth, but due to the traumas they may have faced this could reflect on their behaviours. For example: Challenging behaviours, attachment disorders, emotional behavioural difficulties. Also, in some cases the children may have learning difficulties, autism, and ADHD.

- Good knowledge of safeguarding
- A willingness to help
- Strong minded.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and access to a car (non-drivers will not be taken forward for the role)
- Confident driver
- Clean DBS record
- Holds a current Enhanced DBS checked for child workforce and is on the updated service OR willing to obtain a new one if required
- Personal or professional experience is valuable but not essential
- Able to work 8am-11pm + sleep

The role is casual working and can be utilised as an additional income, weekend job, to compliment your studies or for many of our team, can be used to obtain full-time position (Temp-perm).

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £10.42-£12.75 per hour
