**About the role**:
**_Position Scope_**

The Chief Data Protection Officer of Orange Business (Chief DPO) supervises and monitors Orange Business compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other personal data protection laws applicable to Orange Business across all its geographies and legal entities.

The Global Privacy Expert will be responsible to carry out the actions of the data protection program allocated to them by the Chief DPO as well as to provide advice and assistance to the Privacy Officers and employees generally on all personal data protection matters across Orange Business.

**_ Main Responsibilities_**

Participate to the deployment and further development of the data protection program for Orange Business to ensure overall compliance with European and applicable national laws on Personal Data Protection across its geographies, including:

- prepare, contribute, implement all policies, processes and procedures of the Orange Business data protection program as set by the Chief DPO;
- provide support/review the Privacy Risks Assessments and support remediation where required;
- support the on-going development of records of processing;
- support the on-going development of descriptions of processing;
- identify and monitor Orange Business data protection obligations under applicable laws;
- organize compliance with local data protection laws as required;
- explain personal data protection principles and guidelines to internal stakeholders;
- participate in internal audits ;
- participate in the Orange group DPO and data privacy network;
- participate in the design, deployment, carrying out and/or organization of trainings;
- participate in the design, keeping up to date and publication of internal repositories and intranet (SharePoint, Plazza...);
- monitor the DPO office inbox;
- contribute to addressing and resolving personal data incidents;
- interact with supervisory authorities where required, including in case of audits.

**About you**:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in ICT environment.

Expert knowledge of personal data protection laws and willingness to develop expertise in the design and deployment of a global compliance program.

Ability to translate legal requirements in operational positions and good understanding of ICT services and operational activities.

Master degree in law or qualified lawyer status would be an advantage.

Other requirements: ability to work in an area under development and evolving environment, good communication skills, capacity to work in project mode.

Languages: fluent in both French and English is mandatory, another language would be an advantage.

**Additional information**:
The role can be based in any country Orange Business in Europe, including France.
