Slough, United Kingdom Expert Resource Full time

Full Stack Developer required with Django, Python, Pipelines and Kubernetes experience by our Client, on a contract basis working inside IR35. This role will be based in Slough two days per week.

As a full-stack Engineer, you will be working as part of a high-performance team developing new solutions that put the customer at the heart of the product.

Required Skills:

We are looking for the following skills & experience:

  • Significant commercial experience implementing full-stack solutions using Django and Python.
  • Experience load testing and performance testing.
  • Understanding of databases and SQL query optimisation.
  • Experience delivering applications with a focus on security.
  • Source code systems and branching strategies.
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Docker, Docker-compose and Kubernetes
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Familiarity with AWS

Nice to have:

  • Basic understanding of Redis.
  • Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment techniques, approaches and tools, including experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
  • Experience in developing Java applications is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in developing software using Golang including design, coding, testing and deploying applications

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the squad to deliver in sprints.
  • Developing new solutions, features and driving technical excellence of existing applications
  • Ensure code is documented, secure, performant and can be maintained.
  • Work to refresh existing code as required.
  • Contribute to integration and performance tests for newly developed solutions.
  • Work as part of the team to solve complex cross-business technical problems.
  • Share knowledge with other members of the squad.
