Job Title: Computational Modelling Expert - Global Biopharmaceutical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Computational Modelling Expert to join our team at SRG. As a key member of our biopharmaceutical industry team, you will be responsible for developing innovative in silico solutions for protein purification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Coarse Grained Molecular Dynamics Models: Build and validate coarse grained molecular dynamics models for protein property prediction.
  • Algorithm and Workflow Development: Develop algorithms and workflows for predicting protein-resin interaction behaviour.
  • Data Generation and Management: Generate and manage in silico biophysical data to support prediction model development.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret data to inform model development and decision-making.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report results to stakeholders through presentations, data summaries, and reports.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate issues in a timely fashion to ensure project delivery.
  • Training and Development: Maintain a high level of technical expertise through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project management and resource planning activities.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure delivery of work meets expected standards of quality, safety, and timeliness.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Insilico Modelling Experience: Must have experience in insilico modelling, with a strong understanding of molecular dynamics simulations.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C, or C++.
  • Linux/Unix and Bash Scripting: Experienced in Linux/Unix and bash scripting.
  • Molecular Dynamics Simulations: Familiar with molecular dynamics simulations and good working knowledge of GROMACS/AMBER.
  • Coarse Grained Models: Experienced in constructing coarse grained models.
  • Protein Structure and Biophysical Properties: Strong understanding of protein structure and biophysical property relationships.
  • Communication and Project Management: Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work in a matrix and project environment.
