We are a group of companies working in the legal, accident management and healthcare sectors currently looking for an Experienced Motor Claims Handler to join us.

As a Motor Claims Handler you will be working for Kindertons Accident Management.

**The Role**

To minimise claims spend against Kindertons motor fleet policy. Providing a high standard of service to customers and third parties in relation to their claim, investigating liability, defending and assessing personal injury claims and arranging services for our customers/third parties involved in an incident.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Handling fault and non fault accidental damage claims
- assessing liability and making a determination as to whether liability on a third party injury/property damage claim against Kindertons should be denied or admitted
- Recoverability of credit hire and repair claims, obtaining liability admissions from TPI and maximising profitability
- Identifying, obtaining and collating evidence to defend claims
- Using evidence to support defence of claims and dealing with challenges to any denial of liability from claimant solicitors, third party insurers or other interested parties
- Making decisions as to whether defending or dealing with a third party casualty/ property claim is the most appropriate commercial decision for Kindertons
- Reviewing casualty claims to identify and assess potential large losses and fraud indicators, and follow appropriate procedures
- Liaising with our insurers on fault claims in relation to large losses, and input on strategy, reserve and settlement of catastrophic injury claims in order to minimise policy premium

**Experience**:

- Sound knowledge of Credit Hire
- Experience working RTA claims.
- Able to assess and understand Liability.
- Experience of dealing with PI claims alongside RTA

This role would be a great next step for someone who has a sound understanding of the RTA claim process and wants to progress into a more challenging, technical role allowing them to complete an insurance qualification (CII)

**Location**: Crewe CW2 8UY- Fully Office Based.

**Starting Salary**: £23,500 per annum

**Hours**: Monday - Friday 0830-1700. No weekends
