**Head of Service Delivery - HSL Compliance**

We are currently looking for a **Head of Service Delivery** to join our enthusiastic team at hsl Compliance, one of the leading companies in the legionella compliance industry providing services to public & private sector, health care and industry throughout the UK.

**Job Purpose**

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Head of Service Delivery role is to manage and take ownership of the centralised operational admin, asbestos and legionella reporting and the scheduling teams. These teams comprise around 40 people through 3 direct reports, the role is to ensure they are providing the best possible delivery functions for the operational team to enable effective and efficient operational delivery. This role is all about enhancing and improving our service offering and bringing together the centralised operational support functions.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manage, develop and support the managers responsible for the admin, reports and scheduling
- Maintain and improve on KPIs for above departments service delivery
- Take ownership and site responsibility for the Operational office and Training Academy
- Create and deliver analysis and reports to the Operations Director
- Produce and allocate programs of work for clients and operational teams
- Oversee the production of the weekly financial reports
- Deliver information to deadlines as set out in the Managers reporting schedule

**People Development**
- Management of Health and Safety for your team
- To deliver performance management of your teams
- To ensure your team are meeting the obligations of the customer
- To engage & be a focal point of contact with the operational team

**General**
- Ensure compliance with the quality management system
- Manage the smooth running and effectiveness of the office environment
- Ensure efficient and effective use of equipment and consumables with due consideration of environmental requirements
- Liaise with customers, colleagues and suppliers to ensure all procedures are carried out in line with the agreed requirements
- To provide supportive working environment to the operational team
- Ensure corporate image is maintained at all times.

**Experience, Skills & Requirements**
- Experience in driving operational improvements and improved KPI delivery
- Experience in managing multiple priorities and outcomes through a diverse team
- Experience in building, developing and leading high performance teams
- Experience managing a group of similar, service based teams - eg. Logistics, service provider, manufacturing, large administration teams, large office management
- Excellent customer service and communication, both written and verbal
- Able to show clear, balanced and inspirational leadership
- Capable of being part of senior management team
- Industry experience not necessarily required, this is more about leading and managing similar teams than knowing our industry, training on that will be provided.
- Health and Safety Awareness
- Strong ICT skills
- Understanding of standard financial processes
- Sales and marketing experience would be preferable but not essential
