Stirling, United Kingdom Venture Trust Full time

**About Venture Trust**

Venture Trust believes no one should be left behind because they are struggling with adversity, inequality, or vulnerability. That is why we are supporting people to gain the life skills, stability and confidence needed to reach their potential.

We support people in their local community and in the Scottish outdoors with learning and development. The outdoors offers an inherent challenge for individuals to reflect on beliefs, attitudes, and behaviours. With time and space away from influences at home, individuals can unlock skills and learn new, more positive, ways of approaching situations. At any stage in life, people can struggle. That is why we focus on the path to a positive future, without forgetting what led people to us. Many people we work with are surviving outside mainstream support, are unemployed, or they may have never been in employment. Most have faced trauma.

Our vision is everyone, irrespective of their past, can achieve their potential for a healthy, happy and fulfilling life.

**Our values underpin everything we do**:

- Courage - we remain brave when things are tough
- Care - we will attend to people and place
- Curiosity - we are thoughtful
- Collaboration - we work together for greater impact

**About The Role**

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to support our comms, policy and participation work - the latter to ensure that the experiences and voices of our participants are heard and reflected in all we do and where necessary, amplified to influence policy makers and funders.

An exceptional storyteller, you will use a range of methods to effectively communicate the difference that the work of Venture Trust makes to the people we serve.

You will be an outstanding leader, keen to support and mentor a team and to develop yourself as the role evolves.

An interest in blogging, vlogging or podcasts would be an advantage as would an understanding and appreciation of the benefits of green spaces and the Great Outdoors for health and wellbeing.

If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, and want to play an important role in shaping the future of a dynamic charity striving to enable people to achieve lasting change in their lives, we want to hear from you.
