Customer Service Administrator

The Customer Service Administrator will deal with customer enquiries and will help to ensure all customer orders are entered correctly. This also includes routinely checking customers’ orders and setting up new customers onto ordering systems.
This is a full position working Monday - Friday and working on an on-call basis 1 weekend out of 5 (in exchange for a day off during the week). If you have experience working in a customer service role, dealing with customers on the phone as well as being able to report, and include data input, into various Excel spreadsheets, then this could be the role for you
**What you will be doing**
- Answering incoming calls and taking new enquiries
- Routinely checking on customers by regular monitoring of order status and sales data across the year
- Supporting the sales team by suggesting products to help boost sales and liaising with customers to organise tasting days
- Occasional customer visits may be required
- Contacting customers about new products and anything they might be interested in
- Arranging samples for new or existing customers
- Setting up customers on internal systems, ensuring they have their account forms filled out and all departments are kept informed
- Helping the team take orders and checking new customer orders
- Attending onsite meetings with new and existing customers
- Provide support with social media posts and information for the website and responding to any queries that are received via these platforms
**About you**
- Previous experience of working in sales or an administration position
- Prior experience of dealing with customers on the phone
- Confidence in using excel spreadsheets
- Experience of using CRMs/ online ordering systems would be an advantage
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment is essential
