Part time position - 23 hours per week
We offer hybrid and flexible working, supporting working from home.
This is an exciting time to join Dorset’s Adult Safeguarding Team as we look forward and start to develop increased flexibility and specialist focus within the service. The role will support the development of knowledge and skills in the team and work alongside colleagues in the community, to provide guidance and support to individuals where there are concerns for their safety and wellbeing.
We are a very supportive and nurturing team with a clear vision of embedding high quality safeguarding practice to protect those adults at risk of and/ or experiencing abuse and neglect in the Dorset Council area.
Interviews will be held in County Hall in Dorchester. Shortlisted applicants will be informed within 3 days of closing date.
This is a part time role at 23 hours per week.
This post requires significant travel. You must have a vehicle (or transport we deem suitable) available for use as needed.
See our adult safeguarding policy.
You must:
- have a degree in social work/Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the post
This role is UK based and we will need to establish your Right to Work as part of the appointment process.
