**Position Overview**:
As a Forest School Leader employed by FIFTH Movement, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a deeper connection between children and nature. You will be responsible for planning and delivering inspiring Forest School sessions that align with curriculum objectives while providing a safe and supportive environment for students within a Primary school.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver Forest School sessions in line with the specific requirements and learning goals of participating primary schools in Manchester.
- Create a safe and engaging outdoor learning environment, ensuring the well-being of all participants.
- Encourage children to explore, learn, and play in the natural world, promoting respect for nature and one another.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate outdoor learning into the broader curriculum.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, offering feedback to students and teachers.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to Forest School activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience working with primary school-age children in an educational or outdoor setting highly desirable.

**Desired Skills and Qualities**:

- Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification or higher (e.g., Level 3 Certificate in Forest School Programme Leadership).
- A deep passion for outdoor education, environmental stewardship, and nature-based learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with school staff and children.
- Exceptional organisational and lesson-planning abilities.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £30.00-£40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 1 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Licence/Certification:

- Enhanced DBS? (preferred)

Work Location: In person
