**CIPS STUDENT SUPPORT - REMOTE**

A **CIPS STUDENT SUPPORT** is a CIPS qualified procurement specialist who work with a cohort of CIPS students. Their primary aim is to support the CIPS learners with their studies to give them a greater chance to complete the coursework in a timely fashion and of course pass examinations.

A **CIPS STUDENT SUPPORT** needs no previous experience in this role, but a background in purchasing and CIPS qualifications to level 4 or above, ideally MCIPS.

A **CIPS STUDENT SUPPORT** works from home under initially, the watchful eye of their mentor. They help prepare their students for examinations, help explain what is needed for their course work and evidence portfolios etc. When times get tough, a CIPS STUDENT SUPPORTis there for the learner to help motivate the learner and overcome any barriers the student may experience.

In addition to being a procurement professional a **CIPS STUDENT SUPPORT** has empathy and patience and helps to ensure the learner understands the curriculum and any technical information along the way.

The starting salary reflects this being a training role. In return the CIPS approved training provider with whom this role is working, provides the CIPS STUDENT SUPPORT with the opportunity to study for training and assessing qualifications, which pave the way for the CIPS STUDENT SUPPORT to train to become a qualified CIPS Tutor. - CIPS level 4 or above
- A work history within procurement/purchasing/buying
- Exceptional and concise communication skills - the ability to get information over clearly and concisely
- Empathy and patience - remembering some of the tough times you may have experienced whilst studying for your CIPS
- The ability to engage and motivate people.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £32,000.00 per year
