Are you an experienced and highly organised administrator who thrives on using your problem-solving skills to make life easier for others?
Support your directors and colleagues working in the Learning Programmes teams at National Star in Ullenwood and take some of the administrative burden away from them so that they can concentrate on what they do best - supporting students with complex needs.
To do well in this role you will be a resilient, ‘can-do’ person who works well as part of a team or on your own. Able to build and maintain strong, working relationships, you will enjoy working behind the scenes keeping diaries up to date, arranging meetings as well as getting to grips with collating and analysing information as required for reports and meetings so you will need to be competent in the production / editing of forms and spreadsheets.
Attention to detail is critical to this role, as is confidentiality and diplomacy. No two days will be the same. For example, you may find yourself taking minutes for a meeting in the morning and analysing data in the afternoon in this hugely varied position.
It’s likely that you will have had previous experience in administration, possibly in an education setting. IT savvy, you will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and be an intermediate or advanced user of Excel.
This is a part time role working 30 hours per week, ideally over 5 days. This equates to 0.81 FTE - the actual annual salary will therefore be paid at £17,324. There is scope for an element of hybrid working in this role.
Knowing that the work you do ultimately supports young people with disabilities to become more independent so they can live active lives is what motivates many of our current support staff to give their all at work.
