Activities Co-ordinator

Salary: £10.42 per /hour 30 hours per week including some weekends
**Experience**:
- Customer care : 1 year (preferred)
- Managing and planning events : 1 year (preferred)
- Social care for elderly : 1 year (required)
**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (Preferred
- Arts/Crafts (preferred)
- Music/theatre
**Job**:
- All aspects of the social and leisure activities provided is person-centered and reflects individual requirements
- Relevant documentation is consistently completed, thoroughly and timely
- Delivers high quality care, services and social activities whilst maintaining a nurturing, open, fair and transparent culture.
- Build a weekly activities program
- Involve staff, families and service users in activities
- Manage and plan fund raising events
- We are looking for experience in some or all of the following areas:
**Required Skills and Abilities**:
- Creative background such as fine arts, performing arts, design
- Events management
- Good computer skills with experience of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communicator
- Excellent listener
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good planning skills
DBS check required.
