**Hours: 37.5 hours a week**
Our client, The Edinburgh Woollen Mill have a fantastic opportunity for a Banking Administrator to join the Accounts team based at Head Office in Carlisle.

**Job Function**:
To provide administrative support, whilst processing and posting bank transactions and reconciling bank accounts.
**Principle Accountabilities**:
- Processing bank payments on the Online banking system ensuring payment deadlines are achieved and all payments made accurately and on time
- Download bank statements from the bank and import into the finance system
- Posting bank transactions, manual payments, direct debits and receipts to the finance system
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Deal timeously and courteously with any external or internal queries ensuring that query is satisfactorily resolved.
- Preparation and posting of exchange rate adjustments
- Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts on the finance system
- Any other duties as required
**Key Experience Required**:
- Proven experience as a banking administrator, administrator, purchase ledger clerk
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
- High attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
