Purchase Ledger Officer

The Purchase Ledger Officer is responsible for processing of purchase ledger invoices across the UK, MENA, US, Ghana and Singapore, and preparation of associated payment runs. They ensure the Purchase Ledger is accurate and up to date, and that any queries are dealt with in a timely manner.

The role will also include daily administration of CIPS bank accounts, with the accurate updating of CIPS systems to ensure visibility at all time on cash flow and cash balances.

Finally, there are likely to be other ad-hoc duties required in the Finance department from time to time.

**Key responsibilities**
- Process workflow purchase ledger invoices for UK, MENA, US, Ghana and Singapore
- Process purchase order purchase ledger invoices for UK, MENA, US, Ghana and Singapore
- Upload all purchase ledger invoices onto the Finance system
- Process weekly payment runs for UK and US - international and domestic via internet banking
- Process bi-weekly payment runs for MENA - international and domestic via internet banking
- Process monthly payment runs for Ghana via internet banking
- Process ad hoc payment runs for Singapore via internet banking
- Set up new suppliers on the finance system, including all international suppliers, with the correct bank details for future payment runs
- Check monthly statements received from suppliers
- Deal with any queries on the purchase ledger
- Process and analyse staff expense claims
- Process and check one-time payments (EFTs) and pay weekly
- Post bank payment journals for UK daily
- Post bank payment journals for non-UK weekly
- Prepare yearly write offs for Group Financial Controller to approve

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,611.00-£28,038.00 per year
