**About the role**:
We are looking for our next superstar - someone who has had experience of generalist Human Resources or recruitment experience, either in house or within an HR consultancy to join our team of HR professionals.

The role is office based here in Goring on Thames, nestled between Oxfordshire and Berkshire and easily accessed by train or car. Our modern, comfortable offices are a stone’s throw away from the village and the river, and 5 minutes’ walk from the train station. There is plenty of parking available.

You can expect a fun, welcoming and engaging work environment, where we encourage development and celebrate success.

This role will give you access to a variety of different areas of work within HR; including employment relations, performance management, employee engagement, recruitment and HR admin. We are looking for a team player who is keen to develop their existing knowledge.

We work with a number of clients, across a spectrum of industries, from household names to clients in the automotive industry and specialist engineering, retail, and care providers. We have a wide client base and the business is continuing to grow, so you will be working with existing and new clients, developing strong, meaningful relationships in an environment that will allow you to work in all areas of HR across a wide breath of industries. No two days are the same.

**About you**:
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate common sense and (most importantly) is eager to learn from those around them. We are keen to find someone who is looking to progress their career in HR, understands the importance of excellent customer service and wants to support the expansion of the business as they learn and grow.

You may have worked in an HR admin role or as an HR Assistant, or have had experience in recruitment with a genuine interest in getting more involved in Human Resources.

You will have an understanding of Human Resources and its function within an organisation, or experience in recruitment and onboarding.
- Be super organised, able to work at pace and prioritise with an agility to change direction.
- Ideally be CIPD qualified to Level 5 (or equivalent) or a desire to work towards this qualification.
- Have an interest in employment legislation.
- Be customer service focused.
- Be able to develop good working relationships - an ability to develop long term and sometimes ‘long distance’ relationships is essential.
- Have a strong team spirit - everyone mucks in and helps each other as and when required - equally comfortable working alone when required.
- Be IT literate
- Preferably have previous HR or recruitment experience
