**Do you meet the key eligibility criteria?**
In order to be eligible, you **MUST** meet ALL the following criteria.
- I am a UK National.
- I hold a full manual UK Driving Licence.
- I will be able to provide all the ID documents required to complete my pre-employment screening and security clearance.
As a Business Support Unit Officer you will have the chance to build your skills by taking on a variety of responsibilities. You will need good people and customer service skills as well as excellent teamwork.
We’re looking for someone with the ability to meet deadlines and excellent attention to detail, along with organisational skills and a willingness to learn.
You will form part of the Immigration Enforcement team where you will be supporting Immigration Officers and the management team with their day-to-day operational work.
The Business Support Unit Officer role is a fast-moving, reactive environment, requiring strong organisational skills. We are looking for someone to join us who:

**Responsibilities**:
- Look after the office vehicle fleet; including maintaining the vehicle logs, mileage details and tracking information, ensuring that weekly and monthly checks are completed.
- Arranging for MOTs, and yearly services.
- Carrying out six monthly Driving license audits.
- Arranging for cleaning office vehicles through contractors.
- Acquiring of uniform / operational kit / stationary, and issue lockers and PSUs to staff.
- Being responsible for orders and returns.
- Arranging for payment of invoices.
- Act as the main point of contact for any accommodation issues, both with internal stakeholders, and the landlord.
- Using Government Procurement Card to assist with the smooth running of the office by assisting with ad-hoc purchases as required.
- Working with Radio Airwaves custodian and Grabba custodian.
- Ensuring building safety and making colleagues aware of issues that are ongoing or works scheduled.
- Taking responsibility as fire marshal, emergency response officer and managing contractors.
- You will be required to complete other activities as part of your daily routines, including providing ad-hoc administrative support to the team managers based at Enterprise House, as and when required.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Good team player with proven administrative support experience.
- Willingness to be flexible and to adapt to new demands in a fast moving environment.
- Organised approach to work: methodical, accurate and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information in line with data protection policies.
- Understanding of basic Microsoft tools including Word / Excel.
- Experience of customer interaction.
