**Main Duties**
**Micros till system**
- Processing marketers’ requests (price changes, item deletions, new items, new combo or set price meals, new promotions, any changes to items/meals/promotions’ details) in detailed and timely manner, making sure all updates are tested prior to being sent live to units;
- Creating extracts of data (relevant to job & brand done) to use for cross checking own jobs and for other teams and departments use;
- Ensuring that applied settings will report into other related systems correct to the type of the item, meal or promotions, deciding on most appropriate way of setting that item, meal or promotions up;
- Setting up and maintaining all aspects of the till functioning and displaying options / screens / functions exceptions which are related to division (Air / Rail/ Retail), brand (BK, Starbucks, etc.) and type of service (QSR, TSR);
- Setting up and maintaining auto sequences which rule reporting on Micros;
- Setting up dual pricing set ups when different price is applicable to eat on and take away order type; working out best method depending on brand rules and exceptions, order types, vat, and other circumstances;
- Setting up and checking that the hierarchy, classification and tax applied to items, meals and promotions is correct as per the item, meal or promotion type;
- Setting up and ensuring that item, meal or promotion displays correctly on customer receipt (name, price & VAT) and prints (if applicable) to the correct kitchen / bar printer or screen and to any local or packer’s receipt printer;
- Processing currency rates changes (validation against bank announced rates, input into system, publishing for unit’s use n Connections);
- System access password for support users - change and communication each month; producing extracts of data for use by other teams, and any other repetitive tasks scheduled;
- Processing any data checks and other till update requests sent by relevant parties;
- Publishing information on till updates on connections - currency rates, brand forms, extracts of data for the their teams / departments’ use; producing screen shots of the till changes for brand communications;

- Sap Admin team;
- Back of house (Lynx) team;
- Marketing Operations (MOT) team;
- Business Systems managers (BSM);
- Arc, TSL, Oracle and other supporting third parties;
- Group IT - various departments & teams;
- Brand and Commercial Marketers;
- Operations;
- Loss Prevention & Fraud prevention
**Essential**:
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Ability to communicate in writing and over the phone;
- Able to prioritise workload depending on deadlines, complexity of request and business requirements;
- Good knowledge Microsoft Excel;
- High level of attention to detail;
- Ability to work within a team and on own initiative;
- Flexible within the business hours;
- Ensuring all aspects of role are carried out in accordance with agreed SLA’s;
**Desirable**:
- Knowledge of Lynx;
- Knowledge of Micros Enterprise Management;
- Knowledge of Access or SQL databases;
