Growth of our company has led to an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced member of staff well-versed in all HR related fields. We operate a hybrid working model which includes both home and office-based working. You will work 2-3 days a week from either our modern offices in a semi-rural area near Gatwick airport (not accessible by public transport) or from our second floor London office near London Bridge Station. (Your base office will depend on your residential location, but you will be expected to periodically visit the office which is not your base). Additionally, you will be required to visit our clients' sites in London and other areas around the UK, with an occasional overnight stay.
Our ideal applicant will

- Be familiar with current employment law practices and TUPE transfers
- Be self-motivated and have strong organisational skills
Be proficient in MS Office Packages
- Have strong verbal and written language skills
- Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
- Ability to speak Spanish would be an advantage
- Have an interest in people and planet. As a company with B Corp certification, we would hope that you will share the same ethics.
The HR Officer role involves:
- Being on top of changes that take place within employment law to ensure compliance
- Advising line managers on performance management and employment law matters
- Assuming responsibility for end to end disciplinary and grievance cases
- Assisting with TUPE transfers
- Providing training to our Operations team on HR law
- Providing HR reports to senior management
- Assisting with the recruitment process and maintaining a healthy staff pool
- Helping with enhancing staff welfare
Why should you apply:
We can offer you a very pleasant working environment, among friendly and cohesive colleagues. Initially the holiday allocation is 20 days per annum, raising incrementally after 2 years, until 25 days is reached. Working hours are 40h a week from Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunchbreak. You will be issued with a mobile phone and a laptop for business purposes. Public transport costs, or mileage, for travel from your base office to other locations that we require you to visit can be recovered through expenses.
