**About the role**

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer and Programme Lead in Counselling to join our ambitious Education, Children and Families team at Sunderland College based at our Bede Campus. We are looking for a Lecturer that has clinical experience in the field of counselling and has experience of delivering on Counselling programmes at Level 3 and/or Higher Education. We are seeking a passionate lecturer that can inspire learners to have lifelong careers in this key sector.

We are particularly interested in innovative and creative Lecturers who have experience of teaching Level 3 Counselling skills and/or Foundation Degree Counselling. You will be a key member of a collaborative team that focusses on providing excellent learner experiences through the quality of our teaching, learning and assessment.

**About you**

Applicant for the post should have an appropriate degree and a teaching qualification or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification.
