To effectively manage the delivery and continual development of the
Undergraduate Mental Health Nursing provision and related studies.
To develop learning and teaching related to evidence based nursing and research
theory
To develop the programme in relation to student experience, leadership and
learning & teaching excellence but also contribute towards the future Research
Excellence Framework and Teaching Excellence Framework.

Faculty Specific:
- Effectively lead learning & teaching with the BSc (Hons) Mental Health
Nursing Practice
- Lead student experience, student management and all associated
student processes related to programme management.
- Support the academic team to develop and improve the programme
- Develop learning & teaching resources related to evidence-based
nursing practice and the knowledge of research theory
- Actively manage the programme and contribute to a variety of modules
within the programme. Engaging in the preparation of high-quality
teaching and learning materials and the delivery of assessment of these
in lectures, seminars and other means of teaching and learning.
- Undertake, sustain and develop a comprehensive research profile
related to nursing, through peer reviewed publication. Actively seek
and support opportunities for research collaboration and evidence
based development in curriculum and practice.
- Contribute to Faculty reach out activities, with an emphasis on recruitment
for nursing programmes in partnership with service providers.
