- 0400-23Following the growth of the Childrens the Nursing Programme, the development of a Lecturer post offers the unique opportunity to join our team and develop our teaching provision.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and be part of a growing undergraduate nursing team (Adult, Learning Disability, Mental Health and Children's nursing), to ensure our future as a University, but also be at the forefront of ensuring outstanding nursing care for our futures.

The purpose of the role is to teach clinical nursing skills in a range of settings and to facilitate the integration of students’ clinical practice with their academic studies.
As Lecturer Children and Young Peoples Nursing Practice you will enhance the reputation of the Sunderland School of Nursing as a centre of excellence by engaging with teaching, reach-out and research programmes in nursing and health related topics.

The ideal person will have:

- Extensive children's nursing experience
- Teaching experience would be beneficial either within practice or a higher education.
- Experience with working with students as a Practice Supervisor or Assessor
