An
opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Business Support Officer (Grade
E) to cover maternity leave until end May 2024 supporting the
Property Service Team.

We
require a motivated administrator with good communication and customer care
skills. The successful applicant must be
able to prioritise a heavy workload to tight deadlines therefore good
organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail are essential. You will need good keyboard skills and experience
in Word, Excel, bespoke systems and Outlook.
You need to be able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.

Duties will include:
Checking/processing financial information
- Raising orders
- Data entry/logging

information/processing data
- Updating electronic filing systems / document

management
- Liaising with customers/contractors
- General administration

You
must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and have
knowledge of Data Protection, Equalities, Safeguarding and Health and Safety
requirements of working within an office environment.

The
role is Hybrid working so you will have a blend of working from County Hall as
well as working from home and we will provide you with the equipment to do
this, ensuring you have a work life balance.

You
will benefit from a supportive management structure, on-going personal
development and performance management. Training will be given to the appointed
person.
