HR Assistant

I am working with my Stockton based client to support with the recruitment of a HR Assistant to join their team on a part time basis. Ideally you will have HR experience and be a quick learner with great problem-solving skills.

Some of the main duties will be:
- Responsibility for policies and procedures supported by the firm’s employment lawyers
- Management and reporting of holidays, sickness, and other absence
- Induction and onboarding
- Manage Apprenticeships, Recruitment and advertising of apprenticeships, Liaising with schools / colleges and learning provider
- Recruitment - Writing & posting adverts, Updating Jobs board, Liaising with recruiters
- Assisting with payroll information
- DBS & credit checks
- Employee Engagement Activities
This is a part time role, but they are open minded as to how many hours you will do. They do however want someone who can start at 8.30am and work every weekday. This can be a mix of home and office based
