Montel Group continues to realise expansion plans To facilitate this, we are looking for a qualified and motivated HR Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an HR Assistant, you will act as the liaison for all employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. You'll also take ownership of policies, processes and documents across our European offices.
**Job Location**:
The position is based at our Stockton office, conveniently located in Preston Farm Business Park with an on-site cafe and nearby shops. The building has a staff shower, outdoor seating space, kitchen facilities and refreshments. Our workspace is designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and a positive work environment.
**A typical day will include**:
- Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Provide administrative support to Human Resources functions
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies, HRIS)
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
- Coordinate HR projects (change management, L&D etc)
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
- Administer the bi-annual appraisal process
- Professionally handle complaints and grievance procedures
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
**What we are looking for**:
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS
- Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases
- Basic knowledge of labor laws
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communications skills
- Degree in Human Resources or CIPD qualification
