This role will provide leadership to the clinical and care professional network for Children & Young People portfolio across the Integrated Care Board (ICB), and to the other Place Clinical & Care Professional Leads across the range of portfolio areas. They will be the ICB Children & Young People portfolio representative on the Lancashire and South Cumbria Clinical and Care Professional Assembly.

The Clinical and Care Professional CYP ICB Lead will link with Place Based Partnerships (PBP) to ensure they have awareness of place level priorities and ongoing work, and support engagement at Place for PBP and system-wide work. They will oversee the quality of the CYP services across the ICB, identifying where development and improvement are required, and leading project and programmes to deliver this.

Although the focus of the role is Children & Young People it will involve working with portfolio leads across Lancashire & South Cumbria ICB, including representing the system and portfolio at relevant forums, identifying issues of concern and sharing improvements.

Work across the system to provide clinical leadership in relation to CYP pathways, clinical guidelines, operational standards, and key outcome measures described in the Primary Care DES, NHS Long Term Plan and other key policy documents.

Develop and support engagement with the PBPs.

Engage with the Primary and Community care Transformation groups for the ICB (governance in planning).
- Support to the CYP clinical networks to provide support wider engagement
- Provide leadership input to the CYP programmes of work
- Support the development of quality and performance for CYP during this transitional year
- Link with PBPs CCP Directors to ensure awareness of Place level priorities and ongoing work etc.

Risk Management
You are required to contribute to the control of risk and use the incident reporting system to alert the ICB of incidents or near misses that may compromise the quality of services.
