Daytime Healthcare are working with a well established care and education provider who are currently looking for a Clinical Psychologist to work across there North West Region Schools. These are based in Preston, Darwen and Leyland.
You will be providing a systematic high quality psychology service within our schools, working with others to promote the wellbeing and best interests of our young people. This will endorse the effectiveness of our educational offer to achieve our aim of providing the highest quality service to our young people and ensuring a provision in line with best practice guidelines and internal policies and procedures.
The post will involve undertaking Clinical Psychology/Psychotherapy duties whilst adhering to professional and regulatory guidelines, you will carry out assessments, design individualised plans and strategies. As well as implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions; report writing and multi-professional reviews you will provide advice, information, and training to staff, as well as parents, commissioners, and other agencies.

**Essential Criteria**:
- Post-graduate doctoral level in Clinical Psychology or Psychotherapy equivalent.
- Registered with the HCPC and BPS or equivalent.
- Experienced in working with young people with ASD and complex needs
- Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
- Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with children and young people
- Good knowledge of relevant psychometric tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
