**Job description**

Design Plus are part of Laleham Health and Beauty Ltd, and the Healthcare division of DCC plc who are included in the FTSE 100 index. Design Plus and Laleham are a manufacturing business, developing and producing Cosmetic, Nutritional, Pharma and Medical Device products from three production sites and one logistics centre in the UK. Laleham and Design Plus work with a variety of blue-chip, high-street retailers and brand owners across masstige and premium markets producing globally marketed products. Our facilities operate 24/7 and our support functions work flexibly to provide a high level of service across the business.

We’re looking for a focussed and enthusiastic apprentice who will complete a suitable apprenticeship to support the Brand Team in the efficient administration for the Brand. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager the purpose of this post is to provide administrative assistance. The post holder will manage, organise, update, and perform all administrative tasks that support the business’ Sales and Marketing activities. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount to this role.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings.
- To proactively follow the New Product Introduction Procedure where applicable and communicate fully and appropriately with all members of the management team with regard to each project.
- Generate Bill of Material and Finished Goods Specifications.
- Manage artwork approval process from initial receipt to final external and internal approval.
- Manage the ART files, logging, superseding and generally maintaining.
- Monitor and approve artwork charges.
- Ensure correct component / raw material prices are present.
- Ensure up to date quote and costing is present.
- Maintain a good understanding of weekly retail analytics.
- Assist with the onboarding of new customers.
- Achieve individual targets agreed at performance appraisals.
- Internal Auditing following training from the QA Manager.

**Person Specification**
- 5 GCSEs at grade c/4 or higher including English and maths is essential
- Ability to manage existing customer relationships and proactively develop new customer relationships.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and under own initiative.
- Confident and calm under pressure.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
- Dynamic communication skills.
