**A bit about the role...**
Working in the Business Support team with Julie, our Head of Operations, the Business Support Officer role will play a critical role in supporting the operations team and assisting other departments and Senior Management. You will be joining our small but friendly /highly skilled/ team, who are committed to making a positive difference in sustaining the support for our Suppliers and Customers.
This is a rare chance to join our fast growing, innovative organisation with a real passion and purpose for our network. Working with key stakeholders and a professional support and administrative team you will ensure efficient, consistent, and effective resolution of challenges and the have the opportunity to initiate creative ways of working. The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects. There are some rewarding projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the team.
**A bit about you**
Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our customer and supplier network across the UK, you will be used to working at pace and "spinning several plates" at once, whilst demonstrating excellent organisational, administration and attention to detail and you will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.
You'll be comfortable supporting the Heads of teams, be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the operational impact of what we do as a team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
As an experienced business support professional, you’ll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate that you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way and you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and be able to produce high quality documents and presentations as and when required.

**Business Support Officer**
We are looking for a motivated and focussed Business Support Officer who has excellent organisational/analytical and administration skills. You should have strong communication and problem-solving skills to be able to handle office duties and business support related operations. In this role you will undertake various administration duties including data management, fielding incoming communications as well as identifying and correcting errors and swiftly bringing them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary. Any other duties as directed by management.
**Responsibilities**
- Performing some admin duties such as printing and mailing arrears notices.
- Processing and posting customer payments
- Handling all administrative duties surrounding the processing of direct debits.
- Assisting and co-ordinating with the sales team
- Updating & amending sales campaigns on the loan management system
- Preparing and submitting new Supplier files
- Maintaining & reviewing existing supplier files
- Entering and updating information into relevant databases
- Informing relevant parties regarding any errors encountered.
- Be involved in process improvements.
- Supporting colleagues as and when required
- Handling additional duties as requested by management.
**Requirements**:
- Educated to at least GCSE level in both English and Mathematics
- 1+years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word & Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Creativity and strong problem-solving skills
- Good Organisational and time management skills
**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
