Position: Reconciliation Administrator / Reconciliation Clerk

Location: Cardiff (with opportunity for Hybrid working once fully trained)

**Salary**: up to £26,000 pa (depending on experience)

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

The job of a Reconciliation Clerk / Reconciliation Administrator will involve the following main duties:

- Perform verification and reconciliation of accounts
- To verify and reconcile MI/Bordereau received
- Notify operation team of any anomalies found during reconciliation
- Ensure follow-up action and ensure corrections are completed before month end
- Maintain appropriate files, reports, documentation and data
- Maintain regular contacts with internal and external customers
- Reconcile and verify bank deposits and payments
- Ensure follow-up action as and when necessary
- Adhere to corporate standards and procedures in all clerical activities
- Other such reasonable Finance Administrator duties within the general scope of the job title, at manager discretion
- Previous Finance Reconciliation experience in a high volume, processing role as part of a busy finance department (desirable)
- A strong grade in Maths, confident financial and numeric skills, high level of accuracy is essential
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- A very high level of customer service awareness
- Good organisational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
