As a Major Incident Manager, you’ll contribute to our Nuffield Health purpose to build a healthier nation by being responsible for the management and resolution of Major IT Incidents of Technology Services across Nuffield Health.

Major Incident Manager will join our talented technology team. As a Major Incident Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the rapid and effective resolution of major incidents, minimising impact on business operations, and maintaining high levels of service availability.

You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of all IT major incidents.

**As our Major Incident Manager, you will**:

- Lead, drive, facilitate, and chair all investigation activities, meetings, and conference calls in response to major incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT support, engineering, and other relevant departments, to resolve incidents efficiently.
- Implement and continually improve major incident management processes and procedures.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a coordinated response to major incidents.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of major incidents and resolution efforts.
- Participate in the development and execution of incident management training and awareness programs.
- Be accountable for resolving the outage via workaround or permanent fix
- Ensure all administration and reports are maintained and up to date, including contacts information, technical diagrams, post major incident reviews
- Providing periodic Major Incident metrics reports
- Solving complex problems with information technology software and hardware
- Maintaining incident logs and processing incident reports for review with upper management

**To succeed as a Technology Major Incident Manager, we’re looking for**:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Major Incident Management role
- Proven experience of working in a fast-paced function and delivering outstanding results
- ITIL experience and/or certification
- Effective communicator that can communicate up to Director level on issues in progress
- Collaborative working style with a clear and relentless focus on delivering desired outcomes
