Calling all Service Coordinators who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with learning disabilities in a play scheme in Oxford. This is a part-time position (18 hours per week), paying £24,865per annum. Thisis a perfect position for someone who aspires to become an Ofsted Registered Manager.
Our client is a national charity, with more than 120 services across England. Their ethos is to help disabled children and young people develop independence and achieve their aspirations. The client offers support and practical help to families, in environmentswhere there's a real sense of achievement.
As the Play Scheme Coordinator (and Registered Manager for Ofsted early years), you'll be responsible for the following:

- The daily running and coordination of the services the client provides.
- Co-produce support plans, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
- Ensure that the needs of children, young people and their families are met.
- Recruit, supervise and develop staff and volunteers
- Identify new opportunities for service development.
- Work alongside senior support workers to ensure the appropriate level of future planning
- Communicate plans to families and social care leads in the local authorities.
- The senior support staff will lead the direct delivery of the service with the coordinator providing cover support and observations of service delivery.
To succeed in this role you will have the following:

- Have experience working in: Children Services, Health, Education, Social Care or the Voluntary sector or Advice and Guidance.
- Have experience working directly with disabled children and young people and their families.
- Be adept at planning, delivering and evaluating groups and individual support too, and have a good understanding of the social model of disability and the rights of Disabled children to inclusion.
- Have exposure to the Ofsted Framework and/or CQC Framework.
- Have supervisory experience.
- Have a track record of working operationally and building partnerships with a range of stakeholders.
- Great at report writing, conducting risk assessments and producing care plans.
- Have excellent IT skills and be comfortable conversing with professionals, parents and children and young people alike.
NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or Equivalent
This role is paying £24,865 per annum
