Customer Support Specialist

CooperSurgical is a leading fertility and women's healthcare company dedicated to putting time on the side of women, babies, and families at the healthcare moments that matter most in life. CooperSurgical is at the forefront of delivering innovative assisted reproductive technology and genomic solutions that enhance the work of ART professionals to the benefit of families. We currently offer over 600 clinically relevant medical devices to women's healthcare providers, including testing and treatment options.
The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for day-to-day test case coordination and customer support as part of the Genomics Customer Support Team. This role entails organizing and managing test case paperwork, computer-based data, and patient records while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism. Ensuring accurate updates across CRM systems, databases, and internal systems in alignment with established KPIs. Effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders to provide updates on case progress, combined with meticulous review of forms for data accuracy and assistance with sample collection, are key responsibilities to ensure high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Additionally, the role involves performing miscellaneous duties as required to support the team's objectives.
**Experience**:
- 5+ years of experience within Customer Support, Customer Service, Customer Experience.
- 1 year IVF/Dx/Genetics technical/data administration/customer support or case coordination experience.
- Customer Excellence, proactive communicator, huge attention to detail, high service orientation, ready to go the extra mile to support our customers.
- Potentially a Scientific background (Eg. Health Care, Biology or Genetics) or work experience with genetic testing or regulated environment.
- Understanding of GDPR laws.
- Ability to think cross functional and to contribute to process improvements, also cross functionally.
- Well-versed in MS-Office and knowledge to MD365, NAVISION or equivalent ERP systems. Language, English is essential but fluency in a second language may be an advantage.
**Work Environment**:
- Work Location: Primarily work from home, with option to go to the office location, I-Hub.
The Customer Support Specialist will be a key member of the Genomics Customer Support Team, using specialist skills and training to play a crucial role in enabling efficient and effective administration and support to the case management of complex Genomics patient support cases.
- Day-to-day test case coordination, ensuring logs, database and internal systems are updated accurately, tracked, and monitored in a timely manner, adhering to agreed KPI’s.
- Organize, maintain, and store test case paperwork, computer-based information and patient records using GDPR and ISO 15189 compliant procedures and software.
- Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders on cases and progress during each case, to secure high customer satisfaction.
- Review forms to ensure accuracy of data input on internal database.
