Events and CRM Executive

We've got an exciting opportunity for an Events and CRM Executive to join our Newcastle office in a brand new role.
**_ What's the team and role about?_**
The Events and CRM Executive will work with other team members across the marketing and business development (M&BD) group to support the delivery of events and optimise Microsoft Dynamics, the firm's customer relationship management (CRM) system. The role will be split and support both the Marketing Planning and Campaigns team and Data, Content and Insights team.
The Marketing Planning and Campaigns team is responsible for planning and delivering marketing activities, campaigns and events across agreed sectors, topics, teams and offices to win work and build our brand. The Data, Content and Insights team collate, manage and use the M&BD group's data, content and insights so they inform and add value to our go to market activities and client service best practice
**_ What will you actually be doing?_**
Working with colleagues across the Marketing and Business Development group, you will:
- Support Senior Events Executives on the organisation, planning and delivery of events including building and maintaining invite lists and pulling together relevant marketing materials.
- Attend and support the delivery of the firm's major events across the United Kingdom where required.
- Have an understanding of the firm's chosen webinar platform in order to manage attendees and registrations.
- Assist the CRM Manager with the administration, configuration and optimisation of the CRM specifically for the firm's requirements.
- Be responsible for entering and maintaining accurate client data in the CRM.
- Work with colleagues from across the business to ensure client records are up to date with relevant areas of interests.
- Generate reports and dashboards in the CRM to provide insights on client engagement, user requests and business development activities.
- Support the firm in leveraging CRM tools for effective client engagement and relationship management.
- Provide training and support to users within the firm on the CRM functionalities.
- Identify opportunities to improve CRM processes and workflows specific to the firm's needs.
- Stay updated with CRM updates, features, and industry best practice to suggest enhancements.
- Troubleshoot issues, answering user inquiries, and resolving CRM-related problems or escalating them.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards regarding client data privacy, confidentiality, and data protection regulations.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining data governance policies within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
**_ Who's this role right for?_**
To be successful in this role you'll need as a minimum:
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Basic understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot)
- Familiarity with database management and SQL
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
You'll also need flexibility to work outside regular office hours for events when necessary, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
