Looking to start a career within a fast-paced industry which is rewarding and secure? At DFDS, we have an opportunity for a Customs Compliance Apprentice to join us working Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 17:00, at our site in Immingham.

**Responsibilities**:

- Scanning correspondence from HMRC and archiving
- Updating reports with status changes of customs infringements
- Assisting Compliance Officer to resolve customs queries.
- Retrieving paperwork
- Investigating
- Assisting Compliance Officer to quality check customs declarations ensuring correct information has been transmitted to HMRC
- Assisting Compliance Officer to check physical warehouse stock matches with HMRC records.
- Liaising directly with HMRC regarding amendments to customs declarations submitted by our customs team.
- Working with Data within Excel sheets looking for anomalies to be investigated.
- Creating compliance reports to highlight findings back to staff.
- Assisting Compliance Officer with reports to senior management with regards to infringements.

**Salary**: £9,620.00-£21,000.00 per year
